2013 Annual Figure & Portrait Show -
Through Jan. 27, expressions of the human form and face lend
personality to this exhibit. Artworks may include gesture drawings,

Celebrate Art: 6th Annual Juried Artist Member Exhibition - Thirty-five
of the area's finest artists will present their juried works in this

"The Meanies" Art Exhibit at Space Eight - Exhibition

Hotel Ponce De Leon Carrere & Hastings Blueprint Exhibit - In
commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Ponce de
Leon Hotel, historically and culturally significant ephemera relating to
the construction and early years of the Hotel Ponce de Leon will be on
display through February 22. This exhibit includes original Carrere and
Hastings and McGuire drawings and blueprints, photographs, a copy of an
1885 map, and construction documents. Additionally, the exhibit
highlights a group of artists who made the Hotel Ponce de Leon their
seasonal home during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Original
artwork and other artifacts related to their time in Saint Augustine
will also be displayed at Flagler College's Crisp - Ellert Art Museum,
located at 48 Sevilla St., St. Augustine. The museum is open Monday
through Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Hotel Ponce de Leon 125th Anniversary Community Lecture - A
presentation by John Blades titled "Amazing Things About Henry M.
Flagler Very Few People Know," this presentation is part of the
commemorative events celebrating The 125TH Anniversary of the opening of
the Ponce de Leon Hotel. Takes place at 7 p.m. at the Lewis Auditorium
at Flagler College, 14 Granada St. in St. Augustine. Admission is

St. Augustine Film Festival - The
3rd Annual St. Augustine Film Festival featuring 19 films will take
place on the Flagler College campus and at The Epic Theatre. The films
from Spain, Greece, Germany, France, Cameroon, India and the United
States include six comedies, four thrillers, one musical, one dance
film, two 3D animated films for kids, two documentaries and one
skateboard film. A St. Augustine Film Fest FAST Pass is available for
$45 general admission and $40 for seniors and students for admission to

"Flight of the Butterflies 3D" Opening Night - Beginning
at 6:30 p.m., The World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater will celebrate
the opening night of the IMAX documentary "Flight of the Butterflies."
The evening will include a presentation on butterflies by the University
of Florida and the Florida Museum of Natural History and "A Taste of
South of the Border" courtesy of the Colorado Burrito Company. The World

New Year's Rockin Trolley Tour - Take
a musical journey back in time aboard the New Year's Rockin' Trolley.
Featuring the most popular songs of each decade since the 1920's, the
trolley tours through the historic St. Augustine amid the dazzling

Sea Your History Weekend: The American Revolution - Patriots
and the Sea in a British Colony is the theme of a special weekend
presentation at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, 81 Lighthouse
Ave. Friday from 1-3 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. -noon, there will be
special ship modeling presentations in the Anastasia Gallery. On Friday
from 3-6 p.m., join the Lighthouse archaeologists as they unlock the
secrets of long-lost artifacts from St. Augustine's Lost Ships while
children engage in the Science of Conservation with Lighthouse Education
Staff and Betsy Bowers, deputy director of museum education at the
Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center. On Saturday at 9 a.m., visitors can
meet and work with traditional wooden boatbuilders as they build a boat
from centuries gone by. From 11 a.m.-2 p.m., every 30 minutes, Betsy
Bowers will lead interactive hands-on, family activities that will bring

The Secret: The Spanish Inquisition in Old St. Augustine - Could

Tolomato Cemetery Guided Tour - The
Tolomato Cemetery is the oldest extant planned cemetery in the State of
Florida, with burials starting during the First Spanish Period
(1565-1763). Visitor access is limited to the 3rd Saturday of each
month when docents provide guided tours. Admission is free, but
donations are encouraged. The cemetery will be open from 11 a.m. - 3

Nation's Oldest City Kayak Tour - Join

Free Entrance Day:Castillo de San Marcos - In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day,the National Park Service is offering free admission to Castillo de San Marcos. Built by the Spanish military between 1672 and 1692, the Castillo de San Marcos
is the oldest masonry fortification in the U.S. Friday through Saturday
visitors can experience living history during Spanish Military cannon
firings. The Castillo de San Marcos is located on Avenida Menendez, overlooking Matanzas Bay in historic St. Augustine.
Screening of "Crossing In St. Augustine" - There
will be a free screening of the Crossing St. Augustine, a documentary
about the Civil Rights Movement in St. Augustine. Rev. Andrew Young,
sent to St. Augustine by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was brutally
beaten by police while leading a peaceful march in 1964, and returned to
tell the story 45 years later. The Documentary begins, "with the story
of a personal odyssey that will surprise, educate and inspire viewers".
The screening takes place at 2 p.m. at the Willie Galimore Community
