Definitely one of my favorite hotels is the National Hotel which is just north of the Art Deco district. I have been awaiting the renovations that were announced last year to bring back original Art Deco features and design (although physical pieces will be custom-made replicas) to transport us to their glory days.

In honor of the year they first opened, the National Hotel Miami Beach is launching a "$19.39 Summer Lunch." The hotel has created the quintessential lunch buffet. All tastes and budgets are satisfied and it is quickly becoming the talk of the town. If you need a punctual bite or a leisurely visit with friends and family, they have designed an experience customized for you.

The culinary team has incorporated some of the National Hotel signature dishes paired with sustainable organic produce, imported and domestic cheeses and charcuterie, vibrant farmers market salads and fresh caught seafood.

The lunch is available Monday to Thursday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and includes reduced valet parking and complimentary use of the National pool and beach for a little "stay-cation" or to just play hooky from work...
