Rise Against in Concert
Enjoy an alternative music performance by Rise Against in St. Augustine during their Spring 2012 Tour. This show promises great performances, including special appearances by A Day to Remember and Title Fight. The show takes place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, located at 1340C A1A S. on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine. Advance tickets are $39.50 and $31.50. 17TH Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival
Enjoy non-stop music and award-winning scrumptious barbecue all weekend long, plus a Saturday night performance by JJ Grey and Mofro! Other activities include lots of tasty ribs and barbecue, vendors and plenty of children's activities. Rhythm & Ribs takes place at Francis Field, located behind the historic Downtown Parking Facility on West Castillo Drive in St. Augustine. The festival hours are Friday 5 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $2 per person, except Saturday evening, when it is $5. HMS Bounty Visits St. Augustine
Visit the replica of The Bounty, built for the 1962 movie Mutiny on the Bounty with Marlon Brando, when it stops at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina for dockside tours. Plus, get a discount ticket to experience both the Bounty and St. Augustine's Pirate and Treasure Museum. Guests can learn how the ship works today from the crew members who sail her, as well as see how sailors lived and worked 200 years ago. In addition to being skilled sailors, the Bounty crew is knowledgeable in maritime history and movies. A discount ticket to visit both the Bounty and The Pirate Museum are available at the Museum or from their website and are priced at $18.99 for adults (a $22.99 value) and children ages 5-12 $9.99 (a $11.99 value) Tickets to tour the Bounty only are available at the City Marina and are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Florida's Birding and PhotoFest

Children of a Lesser God at Limelight Theatre
See this dramatic performance about a renegade teacher at a school for the deaf challenges a bitter young deaf woman who works there to learn to talk, romance-and conflict-develops. But will their strong wills tear them apart or be the very glue that binds them together? Performance times are Thursday through Saturday at 730 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through May 13, All performances take place at the Limelight Theatre, located at 11 Old Mission Avenue in St. Augustine. Beach Walk at GTM Reserve
Join GTM Research Reserve volunteers Rick and Roz Edwards from 8:30 am to 10:30 a.m. on for a beach walk at the Guana South beach location. Learn about the animals that call the beach their home as well as seashells and other interesting facts. This is a "Beaches 101" experience that the entire family will enjoy.  There is a $3/per vehicle parking fee. This event is FREE however, due to limited spacing reservations are requested. Living History Days at Fort Mose
Experience living history demonstrations as volunteers in period dress offer visitors a fascinating glimpse into 18th Century live at Fort Mose Historic State Park, the site of the first legally sanctioned free African settlement in what is now the United States. The Living history program is weather permitting and takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Fort Mose State Park located at 15 Fort Mose Trail in St. Augustine. Taste of St. Augustine
Savor the unique tastes of St. Augustine during this flavorful event that showcases more than 30 area restaurants' signature dishes. All the fun takes place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340C A1A S, which will be transformed into a culinary marketplace offering the participating restaurants "signature tastes" as well as cookbooks, cooking equipment and other specialty food items. Throughout the afternoon and evening restaurants are judged for the "best of" 'upscale dining', 'ethnic tastes', 'family dining', 'desserts', and 'The People's Choice Award'. This tasty event takes place from noon to 8 p.m. Admission to the Taste of St. Augustine is $5 and taste tickets are $1 each with restaurants charging between 1 and 5 tickets per taste. Race to the Taste
Lace up your running shoes and walk/run in this chip timed out and back race. All proceeds from Race to the Taste will benefit EPIC Community Services. The walk/run is from noon to 4 p.m., starts and ends at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, located at 1340C, A1A in St. Augustine. Pre-race registration is $25 per person, includes discounts to several St. Augustine area attractions. Day of race registration is $30. Prices will be awarded in all age categories. Treasure Chest Quest
Yield to your inner pirate and go sailing with the crew of the Black Raven on a quest to capture Blackbeard's Treasure Chest. The Black Raven will exchange cannon fire with Queen Anne's Revenge while children learn proper sword play techniques in anticipation of a boarding. If you're brave enough, there will booty for all! And if you're not, you're sure to capture a lifetime of memories.  The Black Raven sails from St. Augustine Marina on this quest at 12:15 and 2:15 p.m. Tickets are $34.95 for adults and seniors, $24.95 for children. Uptown Saturday Night
From 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month, experience live music, refreshments, new exhibits, book signings and much more at the galleries, antique stores and unique shops on St. Augustine's San Marco Avenue between Ripley's Museum and the Mission Nombre de Dios.  The Mission Nombre de Dios provides FREE PARKING. Sam Cooke Tribute

Star Party at GTM Reserve
Come gaze at the night sky and learn about our viewable star system at the GTM Research Reserve. A classroom presentation will begin promptly at 7p.m. followed by stargazing at the viewing stations at 8:00 p.m. It is encouraged to bring snacks, limited refreshments will be provided. Please be prepared and wear insect repellent. Kids are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is no cost for this program but a donation of $5 is suggested. Salt Marsh Ecology Adventure

Annual Nature & Wildlife Art Exhibit
Stop in the St. Augustine Art Association Gallery to see this exciting juried exhibit. The exhibit, on display through May 27, represents nature in all of its beautiful forms and the wildlife that inhabit the great outdoors. The St. Augustine Art Association Gallery is located at 22 Marine Street in St. Augustine. From Farm to Table...A Cultural Experience
This week-long (through May 4) experience will educate and entertain guests with private tours of 4 local farms, cooking classes specially designed for children and adults featuring how to grow, prepare and enjoy fresh vegetables, fruits and meats, a wine-pairing class, and a fabulous dinner pairing local farms with chefs at Nocatee Community Park in Ponte Vedra on Frida, May 4.
