| 17TH Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival Enjoy non-stop music and award-winning scrumptious barbecue all weekend long, plus a Saturday night performance by JJ Grey and Mofro! Guests can learn how the ship works today from the crew members who sail her, as well as see how sailors lived and worked 200 years ago. | Beach Walk at GTM Reserve Join GTM Research Reserve volunteers Rick and Roz Edwards from 8:30 am to 10:30 a.m. on for a beach walk at the Guana South beach location. Learn about the animals that call the beach their home as well as seashells and other interesting facts. This is a "Beaches 101" experience that the entire family will enjoy. There is a $3/per vehicle parking fee. This event is FREE however, due to limited spacing reservations are requested. For more information, call 904-823-4500 or Register Online Living History Days at Fort Mose Experience living history demonstrations as volunteers in period dress offer visitors a fascinating glimpse into 18th Century live at Fort Mose Historic State Park, the site of the first legally sanctioned free African settlement in what is now the United States. The Living history program is weather permitting and takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Fort Mose State Park located at 15 Fort Mose Trail in St. Augustine. Taste of St. Augustine Savor the unique tastes of St. Augustine during this flavorful event that showcases more than 30 area restaurants' signature dishes. All the fun takes place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340C A1A S, which will be transformed into a culinary marketplace offering the participating restaurants "signature tastes" as well as cookbooks, cooking equipment and other specialty food items. Throughout the afternoon and evening restaurants are judged for the "best of" 'upscale dining', 'ethnic tastes', 'family dining', 'desserts', and 'The People's Choice Award'.
